STORY
The Rebels Project was formed by a group of Columbine survivors in the wake of the Aurora theater shooting in 2012. These survivors simply wanted to offer their support to the Aurora community after they had experienced similar trauma.
Recovery is a long-term process and looks different for everyone. We want to make sure survivors know that they are heard and that they have a community of long-term support and services throughout their journey long after all the news cameras disappear.
Knowing that not every community has sufficient funds for mental health, our organization thrives off of the generosity of those willing to contribute. By sponsoring a survivor, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on a survivor's healing journey.
